AMCO SERVICES INTERNATIONAL APPOINT WILLIAM ANGLIO AS PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Amco Services International are delighted to announce the appointment of William Anglio as Procurement and Supplier Development Manager. This is a new role in Amco and is a global position that will see William working closely with Partners and Suppliers worldwide, developing Amco’s business strategy in Procurement and Supplier Management.
William (MSc in International Logistics & Supply Chain Management from the University of Plymouth MCIPS), has extensive experience in shipping, transport, logistics, procurement and supply chain optimisation. For the past six years he was Logistics Procurement Manager and Supply Chain Solution Designer for DS Smith Plc, a FTSE 250 global packaging provider.

He has an impressive background and wide reaching experience that will help Amco develop a stronger, more flexible and more cost effective network by working closely with partners and suppliers from around the world. He will help us to better understand our suppliers business and capabilities, whilst meeting the needs of our customers in a changing, more competitive market place.”
William added “I am currently optimising the operational model of our fleet, with a particular focus on fuel, equipment and maintenance, whilst analysing and measuring the specifics of our logistics model for our UK and European departments. This work will enable us to identify any areas needing improvement predominantly using procurement and transport optimisation levers. I will be looking at supplier development, logistics procurement and optimisation, supply chain management and supplier quality management; with a view of bringing partners and suppliers into more efficient and effective processes with the objective and focus of improved processes and efficiencies for our customers.”
